Welcome to Karis Kids.

Karis Kids is an initiative, started in January 2007, which brings hope to children orphaned by AIDS by strengthening the capacity of local families to care for them. At present we are working in Uganda, but our hope is that we will have future openings in other countries.

“God sets the lonely in families” Ps 68.5-6

Rather than leave these children without the necessities of life that we take for granted, such as food, medical care and education, we integrate them into and support them within adoptive families. We aim to provide continuous support for the whole family –with relationship, opportunity, finance, encouragement and prayer.

We are also starting community projects in the slum areas where these families live, in order to bless the whole community.
